I'm thinking this will generally be a class of seminars about such things as community currency, gift economies, intentional communities, social issues, sustainability, and similar topics.
One such weekend idea is to have a barcamp-like "school in the round", each participant brings their own topic and does a ~2hr(+) class.
It would be:
- collaborative
- someone crafts menu
- participants bring the ingredients
- participants bring a "community building object" (like a can drive)
- Participants would each determine how much they would need to cover class supplies, per person
- add 'em up, divide by # participants, maybe add $10-20 per participant for a "camping fee"?
- participants without classes? guests?
- limit #?
- higher camping fee?
- Camping fee is a donation for infrastructure
